As you may be aware, the TATA IPL 2023 commenced on March 31st, 2023, and we have compiled a list of IPL winners from 2008 to 2023. The Indian Premier League was established in 2008, a year after the Indian cricket team’s victory in the inaugural World T-20 against Pakistan in a thrilling final.
IPL has launched as an ambitious project 16 years ago and has since become widely regarded as the world’s premier Twenty-20 league. The Mumbai Indians have been the most successful IPL team, having won the tournament on five occasions and finishing as runners-up once. Meanwhile, the Chennai Super Kings have also lifted the IPL title four times, with one second-place finish.

IPL 2022 Winner: Gujarat Titans
▪ In IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans emerged as the winners, beating Rajasthan Royals in the final match by 7 wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal was the highest wicket-taker of the season, while Jos Buttler was the most successful batsman with 863 runs in 17 matches. Buttler also won the Most Valuable Player award.
