Monounsaturated fat is one of the healthy dietary fats.

Monounsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature, but start to solidify when cooled.

Whereas Saturated fats and trans fats are solid at room temperature (25 degrees Celsius)

These unhealthy fats can increase your risk for heart disease and other health problems.

Monounsaturated fats are found in plant foods, such as nuts, avocados, and vegetable oils.

Monounsaturated fat is good for health in a number of ways, such as it can lower LDL (bad) cholesterol levels and help develop and maintain our body's cells.

Lower LDL or bad cholesterol levels help reduce our risk of heart disease and stroke.

Eating healthy fats in moderation is good for our health. Because eating excess fat can lead to weight gain.

All fats contain 9 calories per gram of fat, more than double that of carbohydrates and protein.
