According to Guinness World Records, Gino Wolff, 22, holds the title of world's oldest dog.
The dog's owner, Alex Wolf, adopted the dog from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley in Colorado in 2002.
Gino Wolf was born on September 24, 2000. On November 15, 2022, Gino celebrated his 22nd birthday in Los Angeles, California, USA.
According to research, most dogs live 8-15 years, and records of dogs over 20 are rare and usually involve small breeds.
According to the dog's owner, Alex Wolf, a healthy, balanced diet and veterinary care are the keys to Gino's longevity.
He also said that "Gono enjoy activities like taking naps by the fire, munching on salmon snacks, and riding around the neighborhood in a wagon".
Pebbles, a toy fox terrier, previously held the world record for oldest living dog before he died on October 3, 2022.
According to the Guinness World Records report, "Pebbles peacefully passed away from natural causes at her home in Taylors, South Carolina, USA."
