West Bengal has received Rs 11,970 crore in the railway budget for 2023-24.

Eastern Railway received a 39% hike in allocation, receiving a total of Rs 4,078 crore, compared to the previous year’s allocation of Rs 2,942 crore.
Including the Tarakeswar-Bishnupur route and the crucial Nabadwip Dham bridge, 44 railway projects have been finalized.
