West Bengal’s first Vande Bharat Express: Fare, Route and Time

The semi-high-speed train will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2022 from Howrah station.

The passenger service will be fully operational from the first day of the new year i.e. 2023.

The train will leave Howrah at 5.55 am and reach New Jalpaiguri station at 1.55 pm.

 On the same day, it will leave New Jalpaiguri at 2:50 PM and reach Howrah at 10:50 PM.

The train with modern passenger facilities will take around 7.5 hours to reach its destination.

Trains will run six days a week except Wednesdays under Eastern Railway's provisional timetable.

From Howrah to Jalpaiguri the train will cover a distance of around 564 km.

Bande Bharat Express Howrah-Jalpaiguri train ticket price is yet to be announced. But it is expected to be Rs 1700 including food.
