Leader of the Opposition Shahbaz Sharif is leading the race to become the next Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Shahbaz Sharif is the younger brother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

In 2006, he returned to his country.

In 2017, Nawaz Sharif was convicted of hiding assets related to the release of Panama papers.

Shahbaz then became the head of the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz party and entered the arena of national politics.
