▪ Ladakh has been designated India’s first Dark Sky Reserve in 2023, located in Hanle Village, around 168 miles southeast of Leh. The reserve, which spans 414 sq. mi., is an ideal place for astronomical splendor, with roughly 270 clear nights a year.

New Helicopter Service

▪ A new helicopter service launched in the summer of 2022 has reduced travel time between major destinations in Ladakh, including Leh, Zanskar, Kargil, and Drass, to just 45 minutes, making it easier to explore the region.
