About Subhash Chandra Bose
- Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in a Bengali family in Cuttack, Odisha, he had 7 brothers and 6 sisters. He was the ninth child of his parents.
- Netaji was deeply interested in studies from an early age. His father, Jankinath Bose, was a renowned and successful lawyer in Cuttack, who was bestowed the title of Rai Bahadur.
- Netaji had completed his schooling from Cuttack itself. After this, he went to Calcutta for further studies, where he did a BA in Philosophy from Presidency College, Calcutta.
- Netaji had aspirations to pursue a career in civil service, but due to British rule, it was challenging for Indians to enter this field.
