MotoGP World Championships race
• India to host premium class motorsport event in 2023.
• It will be the first premier-class motorsport event to be held in the country nine years after Formula 1 left.
• The world’s premier two-wheel racing championship will be held at the Buddha International Circuit (Greater Noida).

FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup
✍️ This year FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will be held in India in the month of October.
✍️ Earlier, there was some doubt over the hosting of the game due to the ban on the All Indian Football Federation (AIFF) by the international governing body FIFA, but on 26 August FIFA lifted the ban and allowed India to host the World Cup again.
ICC Women’s World Cup 2025
✍️ BCCI has announced that India will be hosting the Women’s World Cup 2025.
✍️ This is the fourth time for India to host the tournament.
✍️ The last ICC Women’s World Cup (2022) was held in New Zealand.
✍️ The 2025 World Cup will be Harmanpreet Kaur’s first World Cup as a captain.
Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022
✍️ Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu and Indian men’s hockey team captain Manpreet Singh has been announced as flagbearer for Team India at the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
✍️ PV Sindhu was also the flagbearer at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
✍️ The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has launched “Create for India” campaign to encourage the Indian contingents participating in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
